Larry Eugene Bell "Guitar"
| Larry Eugene Bell was born June 23, 1941 in Saint Joseph, Missouri to parents Rozella Byrd Bell and William Bell. Larry attended Bartlett High in St. Joseph until relocating to Omaha, Nebraska in 1956, where he attended Technical High School. Since the day Larry Bell entered this world he lived and breathed music. Music was his passion and he pursued it with great determination. His musical talents included playing the piano, drums, saxophone, and "Tweety" his beloved guitar. Before joining the United States Military Larry formed a group called, "Larry Bell and The Cyclones," where they performed at the Off Beat, Workman Club, and other locations in the Omaha area. After completing his active military duty he moved to Los Angeles to seek his fame and fortune as an entertainer. Once arriving in Los Angeles he formed a group known as Larry Bell and the Soul Packs, wherethey played at numerous clubs and other engagements. While residing in Los Angeles, Larry earned a degree in Tailoring from Los Angeles Technical College. With this expertise he designed many of his band's regalia. Larry also performed with various well known artists and worked as a studio musician for various music entertainers until his health began to fail. Larry Eugene Bell was an accomplished musician and everything he touched literally turned to gold. Larry was very charismatic and used his musical gift to touch the lives of others and expose them to the true definition of music. He enjoyed the gift of life and throwing lavish social events for family and friends at his home in San Fernando Valley, California. Larry departed this life on September 28, 2004 in Santa Monica California...
