Lou "L.A." Arterberry, Jr.

Owner / Chief Engineer
Saratoga Sound Ltd., Omaha, NE.
DOB: May 20, 1950
Place of Birth: Omaha, NE.
Producer, Engineer, Songwriter, Percussionist

Lou's musical roots go way back to childhood,   and coming from a very artistic family, began studying music thru piano & percussion.  In the early 70's he began  playing drums with different bands, and soon began playing and touring with the church as well.  By the early 80's, Lou began venturing into sound engineering and working with several bands in the Omaha area, and as his technical skills expanded, he began to record live performances for the bands he worked with.
It is from these early experiences that Saratoga Sound Ltd. was born. The small studio worked and grew as Lou and company wrote, performed, and recorded music. By the mid- to late 80's, Lou began working with Dr. Claudette Valentine & Center Stage Theatre as percussionist, orchestra sound tech, & teacher.  The opportunities here were very valuable, and allowed the studio and the theatre productions to broaden their horizons.
By the early 90's, Lou was producing & recording music commercially for himself and others, pushing the studio to higher levels of quality. Today, in the new millennium, Lou & the studio are well known in the Metro-Omaha area musical community, and the studio is always busy working with clients on various recording and production projects. Currently Lou and his conga drums are busy performing live shows as well as on various recording projects. For further info, check out our website at:
